I traveled to Oklahoma City, OK to film Mummers Theater (now Stage Center) for the film, Seasons of the Soul, as a camera operator.
John Veltri and Marguerite Lorimer at Earthalive Communications are in the production of a film on an architect, John M. Johansen.
A world-renowned architect, Johansen was commissioned to design a building for an avant-garde theater group “Mummers” back in the 70s. Right before the buiding completed, the theater group went bankrupt. Still this uniquely structured building was finished, later recognized and received a national award from AIA in 1972. We filmed the theater when a community art event, “the Festival of the Arts” was taking place. You see Johansen in this clip enjoying a party at the Festival.
